Must buy items when you get invited to a Japanese wedding ceremony.

Hi, everyone! I'm Aya, a Japanese supporter for non-Japanese living in Japan.

Today, I’ll introduce what to buy and bring to a Japanese wedding ceremony.

The article below is well-written about Japanese wedding, so please check it if you are interested.

“Goshugi” (gift money)

There is the only one item that you have to bring to Japanese wedding ceremonies, which is called “Goshugi” meaning gift money in Japanese.

It is really rude to give gift money without envelope to brides and grooms, so I strongly recommend you should buy “Goshugi-bukuro,” meaning envelope for gift money.

“Goshugi-bukuro” (envelope for gift money)

For non-Japanese, it should be hard to look for a authentic Japanese envelope, I’ll select and introduce the best authentic envelope you can buy on Amazon!

These envelopes are really authentic. You don’t have to be worried about it.

How much money?

In general, if you give gift money to your friends, it is better to give 30,000 yen. To family, it should be from 50,000 yen to 100,000 yen. But if you are not confident about the amount, you should check your other friends or family about it.

I hope you will have a nice memory in a wedding party!
